The transportation service, which aims to support patients accessing services in Daajing Giids, their families and support persons, and for staff or the public to travel between communities, is a partnership between Northern Health and Eagle Transit. The service offers same-day return service, Monday to Friday, between Masset and Daajing Giids.
While there is no cost for the service when booked for medical travel, there is a $10 fee for the service for non-medical public travel, which will be collected by the driver.
